December 2021 COVID-19 Protection Framework
Wyma Engineering (NZ) Ltd would like to thank our contractors and suppliers who have been complying with our on-site requirements during these exceptional times. With the introduction of the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights), Wyma has undertaken a risk assessment in respect to external personnel visiting, delivering to and collecting from our site. Potential exposure to COVID-19 is a significant workplace hazard and, as per our obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Wyma is taking all reasonably practicable steps to reduce risks as low as reasonably practical.
As such, Wyma will implement the following protocols from 03 December 2021:
- No visitors, suppliers, contractors or delivery drivers may enter the Wyma buildings or factories without first:
- Presenting proof of vaccination via a COVID-19 Vaccine Pass at reception
- Scanning in using the NZ COVID Tracer App
- Signing in on the visitor terminal
- By entering the Wyma site, all visitors, suppliers, contractors or delivery drivers agree to comply with all controls Wyma puts in place and directions from authorised Wyma staff.
- All deliveries to Wyma and container collections are to take place outside in the designated yard areas. Drivers must scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer App and, if waiting for Stores / Yard assistance, return to their cabs and await further instruction once they have advised their presence via the Wyma RT system.
- Courier drivers that do not require assistance for their delivery or collection must scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer App, complete their operation in the designated area when safe to do so, and then return to their vehicle. If proof of delivery is required, this can be requested via the Wyma RT system.
