Modular Belt Conveyors
Wyma’s Modular Belt Conveyors provide a versatile and reliable conveying solution for produce handling lines.

Wyma’s Modular Belt Conveyors provide a versatile and reliable conveying solution for produce handling lines. Designed for flexibility and low maintenance, they offer capabilities that are not possible with conventional fabric belt conveyors.
Modular belts are made from interlocking plastic modules driven by sprockets, creating a positive drive system that eliminates the need for frequent re-tensioning or tracking adjustments. This design improves reliability and reduces maintenance compared with traditional fabric belt conveyors.
One of the key advantages of modular belt conveyors is their adaptability. They can be configured to handle complex layouts, including corners, spirals, reverse goosenecks, and automatic lane changes, making them suitable for a wide range of processing line designs.
Maintenance is also simplified. If a section of the belt becomes damaged, individual modules can be quickly replaced without changing the entire belt, often without requiring specialised tools. Modular belts can even continue operating with minor damage or missing modules, helping minimise downtime.
The belts operate with catenary sag, where tension is created by the belt’s return path between support elements. This allows the belt to naturally accommodate temperature changes and wear without manual adjustments.
Modular belts are available in straight-running or side-flexing designs, with multiple surface types such as flat top, flush grid, and nub top to suit different product handling requirements.
