General Information:
The Short Buffer Channel system provides a low footprint method for buffering fruit in preparation for Hydro Bin Filling.
The system gently accumulates product in layers, achieved using a sophisticated water flow system. The result is a short buffer channel which is around a third the length of traditional buffer channels. This leads to considerable space saving, especially for large pre-sort systems.
This system can be adapted for pears, utilising a clever channel tilt system to encourage produce to begin moving once the channel gate opens.
