    General Information:

The Bin Pallet Washer unit is an automatic system which cleans the bottom of field bins to reduce the amount of dirt and contaminants entering the primary water system of a wet infeed line.

Bins are supplied to the unit by either a roller or chain conveyor. Once bins have entered the machine, the doors close and the wash system is activated. The system features a combination of spray nozzles and brushes to thoroughly clean the base of the bin. Once the wash program is complete, the spray nozzles shut off, the doors open, and the bin is discharged.

The wash water forms a closed loop system: there is a sump in the bottom of the unit which collects and stores water. The nozzles are supplied with water from the sump, and this water is recaptured and passed through a sieve belt to filter prior to re-entering the water sump. When the sump water level gets too low it is topped up with fresh water from the supply line.
