Fully automatic system to thoroughly wash all surfaces of a bin
General Information:
The Bin Washer unit is designed to rigorously clean both plastic and wooden bins.
It is an inline system, so is supplied with single bins by either a roller or chain conveyor. Once bins have entered the machine, the doors close and the high-pressure spray system is activated. The system has 70 nozzles which surround the bin to clean external surfaces. The unit also rotates bins upside down and raises a spray lance into the interior of the bin; this lance produces a 360° spray pattern to clean the inside of the bin. Once the wash program is complete, the spray nozzles shut off, the bin rotates back upright, the doors open, and the bin is discharged.
This system can easily be coupled with a bin destacker and stacker to create a complete bin wash line.
The wash water forms a closed loop system: there is a sump in the bottom of the unit which collects and stores water. The nozzles are supplied with water from the sump, and this water is recaptured and passed through a sieve belt to filter prior to re-entering the water sump. When the sump water level gets too low it is topped up with fresh water from the supply line.
