High-speed palletising system which builds pallets from an elevated platform
General Information:
The Top Load Palletiser achieves palletising high speeds by building layers at height and lowering onto pallets below.
Product is conveyed up an incline to the elevated platform, where it is built into pallet layers by a set of manipulators which rotate and position packages according to a programmable pattern.
Each layer is formed on an articulated plate; once a layer has been built it is transferred across to the pallet for depositing. The pallet is elevated up to the layer forming area, and as layers are released it incrementally lowers itself, allowing the pallet to be built up.
