General Information:
The Clamshell Filler is used for a wide variety of produce types, including cherries, berries, tomatoes, apples, pears, garlic, nuts, onions, and potatoes.
The system works by receiving portions of product from a separate weighing system, gently depositing them into the clamshell or punnet, then closing and sealing the lid. Packages can either be manually placed on the line or loaded in stacks into a denester which singulates the packaging onto the conveyor.
