    General Information:

Linear Weighers utilise trickle feed technology to portion produce according to a target weight. They are less accurate than combination weighers, but are well suited to lower throughput packing lines.

These weighers have two weighing buckets, which are filled in a controlled manner, typically utilising actuated brushes to slow and then stop the product flow. The buckets alternately release product to the next process; while one bucket is filling the other is releasing, creating an uninterrupted supply.

Wyma supplies a range of linear weighers, with machine options to suit all produce types and throughputs.
